KF79123 is an airport bus operated by SOT. Underneath the Jonckheere body is a Volvo B10B chassis. It is seen here in March 1999 at its terminating point near the ferry terminal in Stavanger. Click for a larger picture

Click for a larger picture Seen in Verksgata, Stavanger in March 1999 is SOT's SR75846, a Volvo B10L with Arna 2-door bodywork. Dirty buses are a fact of life in Stavanger during the winter month's. This is mainly due to the fact that many cars use studded tyres in the winter in order to improve grip on icy roads. Unfortunately, if the roads happen to be free of ice and snow, the studs grind the asphalt to a fine powder which finds its way onto anything on or near the roads.

SR47789 is a DAF SB220 with Arna 2-door bodywork, number 103 in SOT's fleet. One of a growing number of SOT buses bearing all-over advertisements. It is seen here near the high-speed ferry terminal, Stavanger in March 1999. Click for a larger picture

In Stavanger city-centre is SOT's RH62955, a Volvo B10BLE with Säffle bodywork. Seen here in broad daylight in July 1999, the livery is an advertisement for the nightbus service rather than a nightbus livery ! Click for a larger picture

Click for a larger picture SR17786 is a Volvo B10R with Arna bodywork, number 215 in the NSB fleet (now called Nettbuss). It is seen in the rush traffic in Stavanger in November 1999.
